JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) has officially acquired PT Trans Hybrid Communication (THC). This corporate action is intended to strengthen the national digital infrastructure ecosystem.

THC is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) company that was established in 2006 and has foreign investment (PMA) status. The company holds licenses from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, ranging from Closed Network (JARTAPTUP), Internet Service Provider (ISP), to Local Fixed Network (JARTAPLOK).

This legality serves as the foundation for developing domestic and international-scale connectivity businesses.

Through this acquisition, INET integrates THC’s strategic service portfolio. In the international connectivity segment, THC is known as a provider of International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) and International Ethernet Private Line (IEPL), with technology support from Huawei and Fiberhome.

In addition, THC provides high-performance dedicated internet services and IP Transit for government agencies, corporations, and other ISPs that require global standard connectivity.

On the infrastructure side, ownership of domestic and international fiber optic backbone, as well as a network of Points of Presence (PoPs) in various strategic regions, is an important asset in expanding INET’s service reach.

THC is also developing data center and private cloud services, including colocation solutions and big data management designed to support organizational digital transformation. Not only focusing on the corporate segment (B2B), THC has begun to penetrate the retail market (B2C) through the Dukodu.id brand, which provides broadband internet services for end-users.

“The acquisition of THC is not just a business expansion, but a strategic step to strengthen the national digital infrastructure ecosystem. We see that the future of connectivity requires a network that is open, scalable, and ready to face the increasing growth of digital traffic,” he said in a press release, Thursday (February 26, 2026).

He noted that the synergy of fiber optic networks, international connectivity, and cloud services will be the main pillars of INET’s growth. The company is targeting a greater role in the development of the national digital backbone, while also opening up opportunities for regional expansion.

“Through this synergy, INET wants to take a greater role in building Indonesia’s digital backbone while also opening up opportunities for regional expansion. Our vision is to provide infrastructure that is not only technologically strong, but also able to drive digital inclusion and sustainable economic growth,” he said.

Previously, THC’s management emphasized the values of TCARE, Trust, Customer Centricity, Agility, Result Through Collaboration, and Excellence Through Innovation, as the operational foundation of the company. The integration of the two entities is expected to create efficiency, expand service reach, and increase competitiveness in the telecommunications industry.
