Sinar Surya sues Kian Ho

SINGAPORE (Reuter): Singapore's Kian Ho Bearings Ltd said on
Thursday it was being sued by Indonesian firm PT Sinar Surya Corp
over the alleged supply of unsatisfactory goods.

Kian Ho said in a statement it was counter-claiming for
defamation.

The Singapore company said it was being sued for damages,
interests and costs "arising from the alleged supply of non-
genuine goods and for alleged negligent misstatement and/or
fraudulent misrepresentation on or around 1991-1992".

It said Kian Ho director Kwek Che Chuan was also being sued
over the same allegations.
