Sinar Mas Subsidiary and China Mobile Launch Corporate AI Solution

Bandung (ANTARA) - One of Indonesia’s conglomerate giants, Sinar Mas, on Monday (11/5) partnered with China Mobile to launch an artificial intelligence (AI) innovation named Libra, designed to support various corporate and business activities.

The launch of the AI solution took place at ITB Innovation Park, Bandung, West Java Province, organised by PT Asix Indonesia Cerdas, a subsidiary of Sinar Mas under PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), in collaboration with China Mobile JiuTian Artificial Intelligence Technology (Beijing) Company Limited.

“Libra is not just a tool, but also a secure digital partner that helps teams work more nimbly. From searching for important information to simplifying internal workflows, Libra enhances productivity without compromising company data security,” said Andrie Tjioe, President Director of PT Asix Indonesia Cerdas.

Libra is designed to boost productivity in corporate and business activities through various intelligent features that reduce administrative barriers and accelerate decision-making.

Users can access the AI assistant for quick and accurate answers to complex questions, translation and document summarisation services, as well as meeting transcriptions. Libra is also equipped with image generation, automatic subtitling, and multilingual voice dubbing features to support business communication needs and content creation.

Patrick Hu, Senior Solutions Manager at China Mobile JiuTian Company, stated that Libra focuses on providing robust enterprise-scale infrastructure, ensuring that corporate users receive high stability, scalability, and security.

This collaboration received appreciation from M. Arfan Sahib Sali Kando, Head of Data and Information Bureau of the Presidential Advisory Council, who described Libra as an innovation aligned with the government’s agenda to accelerate digital transformation. He also emphasised the importance of partnerships between government, industry, academia, and technology players.

The Libra launch was held at ITB Innovation Park, which also serves as the home for a joint AI lab collaboration between Sinar Mas, China Mobile, and Bandung Institute of Technology.
