Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Sinar Mas Land, through its corporate venture capital (CVC) arm Living Lab Ventures (LLV), is pursuing a new approach to attract global investors by undertaking investment based on a strategic collaboration ecosystem.

LLV is not merely an investor. It also serves as a strategic collaboration platform to orchestrate synergies among global investors, corporations, startups, institutions, and strategic partners within a structured, execution-oriented framework.

CEO of Digital Business at Sinar Mas Land, Mulyawan Gani, explained that global investors are not only seeking investment opportunities but also partners who can collaborate and ensure concrete implementation pathways.

“Global investors today are looking for more than just investment opportunities. They need partners capable of orchestrating collaboration and ensuring concrete implementation pathways,” said Mulyawan, who also serves as Managing Partner of Living Lab Ventures, on Friday (13/2/2026).

“LLV serves as a strategic bridge connecting global capital with the local ecosystem in an integrated manner. This approach positions LLV as a partner capable of lowering market entry barriers and accelerating the validation and adoption process for solutions,” he added.

The strategy will ensure that every investment has structured go-to-market support, access to strategic partners, and clear implementation backing.

LLV will connect investors and innovators whilst facilitating integration with corporations and relevant ecosystems.

Meanwhile, LLV is currently managing four investment vehicles: the City Centric Fund, Healthcare Fund, Urban Gateway Fund, and Japan Thematic Fund. All four will focus on sectors with long-term growth potential, particularly in urban development and healthcare services.

Partner at Living Lab Ventures, Bayu Seto, said the firm’s role is to ensure partners have access to the networks, infrastructure, and ecosystem they require.

“Our role is to be a catalyst for cross-border collaboration. We ensure every partner has access to the networks, infrastructure, and ecosystem needed to grow. With this approach, global investors can move faster and with greater confidence in entering the Indonesian market,” Bayu explained.
