Sinar Mas Land Graduates 75 Students from Inclusive Early Childhood Education Programme

Sinar Mas Land, through its Corporate Social Responsibility division, held a graduation ceremony for the PASP Do & Learn programme on 24 June 2026 at the Green Office Park Auditorium in BSD City. The programme is a free non-formal education initiative for children aged 3 to 5 from low-income families who are not yet enrolled in formal education. Beneficiary selection is conducted by the Sinar Mas Land CSR team in collaboration with village officials and local partners to ensure the programme reaches the right target group. The programme supports holistic child development through a ‘learning by playing’ approach, covering motor skills, cognitive development, social skills, character building, and life skills. The event was attended by 75 students from the twelfth cohort, 150 parents, and officials including the Vice President of CSR at Sinar Mas Land, Adhityo Galih Priyambodo, and the Head of Early Childhood and Non-Formal Education Development for the South Tangerang City Education and Culture Department, Rizkia Fitria. Dony Martadisata, Managing Director of the President Office at Sinar Mas Land, stated that early childhood education is crucial for building a foundation of character, a love of learning, curiosity, and interaction skills. He noted that the programme graduated 75 students from 24 villages across nine sub-districts around BSD City, an increase of approximately 20 percent from 60 students the previous year. The graduation event featured creative performances by the students, including a jungle-themed fashion show, a flash mob, a musical drama, and vocal performances. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of graduation certificates, report cards, medals, and awards for the most diligent, active, and independent students. Since its launch in 2014, the PASP Do & Learn programme has reached at least 635 children in the BSD City area. Beyond child development, the programme strengthens the family’s role in education through parenting workshops, family counselling, a literacy programme for mothers called HULU, and storytelling training. Sinar Mas Land views the programme as a contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the goal of ensuring inclusive, quality, and equitable education, and believes that early childhood education and literacy are long-term investments in building a creative and character-driven generation.
