Simultaneous corn planting in the first quarter of 2026 in Samarinda

Police officers from the Samarinda City Police (Polresta Samarinda) planted corn seeds during the simultaneous corn planting in the first quarter of 2026 at the Harapan Baru paddy field area in Loa Janan Ilir, Samarinda Seberang, Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on Saturday 7 March 2026. East Kalimantan Police Regional (Polda Kalimantan Timur) aims to expand the corn planting area by up to 1,600 hectares to support the Asta Cita programme of President Prabowo Subianto in realising the 2026 corn self-sufficiency target, with projected production of 18 million tonnes of dry kernels.
