Simpang Gadog Integrated Post Opens Aladdin's Palace-Themed Facility with Complete Amenities for Homebound Travellers on Puncak Route
The integrated post in the Simpang Gadog area, Bogor Regency, has unveiled a unique Aladdin’s Palace-themed concept to provide services for homebound travellers traversing the Puncak route during the 2026 Ketupat Lodaya Operation.
The service post is equipped with various facilities to support traveller comfort, including public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU), mobile workshops, 24-hour healthcare services, and children’s play areas.
Ardian Novianto Azhari, Head of Operations of the Bogor Police Traffic Unit, stated that the post also provides rest facilities for exhausted travellers during their journey.
“For travellers who are tired, this post provides seating, a cafeteria with complimentary coffee and mineral water, and prayer facilities,” said Ardian at the Simpang Gadog Integrated Post on Saturday, 14 March 2026.
Middle Eastern-Themed Decoration
According to Ardian, the “Aladdin’s Palace” concept was selected to allow travellers to experience a different rest atmosphere when stopping at the post.
The post decoration is adorned with various Middle Eastern-style ornaments, such as palace-like domes, gates with distinctive Arab ornaments, statues of Aladdin and Genie characters, a replica camel, and various other decorative elements depicting the Aladdin story atmosphere.
“The theme relates to culture and local wisdom, but we adopted something slightly different from others, so we chose the Aladdin’s Palace theme,” said Ardian.
Complete Facilities for Travellers
In addition to rest areas, this integrated post also provides several additional facilities, such as free health checks, massage chairs, nursing rooms, and mobile workshop services in cooperation with local automotive communities to assist homebound travellers experiencing vehicle problems.
“Last year, the mobile workshop did not operate from this integrated post, but we positioned them along the Puncak route so they could reach whatever was nearest. Usually we distribute them, but this year our directive is to prepare everything here,” explained Ardian.
He added that the mobile workshop service operates proactively to assist homebound travellers experiencing minor vehicle damage along the Puncak route.
