SIM Keliling Service in Jakarta Available on Thursday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) opened mobile Driving Licence (SIM) renewal services at five different locations in Jakarta on Thursday. Through its official X account @tmcppoldametro, it was announced that the service operates from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. This SIM Keliling service is intended only for those holding SIM A or C whose validity period is expiring, while holders of SIM B with an expiring licence must visit the Driving Licence Administration Unit (Satpas) office due to differences in document purposes. Here are the five locations for SIM Keliling in Jakarta accessible to the public: 1. East Jakarta at Mall Grand Cakung; 2. North Jakarta at LTC Glodok; 3. South Jakarta at Trilogi Kalibata Campus; 4. West Jakarta at Mall Ciputra; 5. Central Jakarta at the Lapangan Banteng Post Office. The public intending to access the service is requested to bring the SIM to be renewed and their ID card, each accompanied by photocopies. At the service booth, applicants will be asked to fill out a form and undergo health and psychology tests. It should be noted that this service only handles renewals for valid SIM A and SIM C. The renewal fee, in accordance with Government Regulation No. 76 of 2020 on Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the Indonesian National Police, is Rp80,000 for SIM A renewal and Rp75,000 for SIM C renewal. In addition to these fees, applicants must also pay an additional psychology test fee of Rp37,500 and an insurance fee of Rp50,000.
