SIM Keliling Service Available at Five Locations in Jakarta on Tuesday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya is providing driving licence (SIM Keliling) services at five locations in Jakarta to help residents extend the validity of this legal driving requirement on Tuesday. The SIM outlet service will be open from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB. Through the official X (formerly Twitter) account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya, the service locations are as follows: East Jakarta: Lobby in front of Grand Cakung Mall; North Jakarta: Main Lobby of LTC Glodok; South Jakarta: Parking area next to Trilogi University Kalibata; West Jakarta: South Lobby of Ciputra Mall; Central Jakarta: Parking area of the Lapangan Banteng Post Office. To access and receive service at this SIM Keliling facility, the public must prepare and complete the required requirements and administrative fees before visiting the SIM document renewal location. The requirements include a photocopy of a valid ID card, a photocopy of the old SIM and the original SIM, proof of health check, and proof of psychology test. This mobile SIM Keliling service can only renew SIMs that are still valid for certain categories, namely SIM A and SIM C. For SIMs that have expired, the owners must apply for a new SIM at the locations designated by the police. For renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue, it is Rp80,000 for SIM A renewal and Rp75,000 for SIM C renewal. For SIM B type, renewal of validity cannot be done at the SIM Keliling service, but must be renewed at the SIM Administration Unit (Satpas) office due to differences in document purposes. The SIM B document itself is intended for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes.
