JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The SiKasep service has officially migrated to the Tapera Mobile application since 13 April 2026. With this change, the SiKasep application can no longer be used by the public.

The Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) states that this migration is intended to facilitate public access to housing financing under the Facility for Liquidity of Housing Finance (FLPP).

“The presence of Tapera Mobile brings housing financing closer to MBR spread across Indonesia. With just one grasp, housing financing can already be carried out,” said Heru, quoted from an official statement, Tuesday (14/04/2026).

Applying for a mortgage through Tapera Mobile begins with downloading the application from the Google Play Store or App Store.

Prospective debtors then enter their Population Registration Number (NIK) and agree to the applicable terms and conditions to create an account.

Next, users are required to verify their identity with a selfie alongside their ID card and capture an image of the ID card. Data from the ID card will automatically populate in the system and needs to be validated before saving.

After successful registration, prospective debtors can search for houses using the available search feature. Once a house has been selected, users can proceed with the mortgage application, subsidy checks, bank selection, and scheduling a meeting.

The subsequent application process can be monitored through the status tracking feature, which includes five stages: financing application, follow-up, SP3K, habitability assessment, and agreement.

Independently. If still confused about the flow, information related to Tapera Mobile can be accessed on the website tapera.go.id,” explained Heru.

According to Heru, MBR with certain income levels according to zones can obtain their first home through FLPP mortgages or Tapera Fund financing, in accordance with applicable regulations.

BP Tapera, as the Government Investment Operator (OIP), has been disbursing FLPP funds since 2022.

“Currently, only 14.29 percent of the 350,000-unit target has been absorbed. Come on, take advantage of this opportunity to own your first home with BP Tapera,” said Heru.
