A magnitude 6.7 earthquake that hit several areas of Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi, on Tuesday (16/6) at 10.27 WIB has left one person dead, 13 seriously injured, and 25 with minor injuries, according to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). The tremor affected approximately 110 families, totalling 312 individuals, and caused damage to 44 houses — 12 severely, six moderately, and 26 lightly.

Many residents remain in temporary tents in Kamarora B Village as a precaution against potential aftershocks. The local government has deployed integrated health teams and set up health posts to provide medical services to those affected and to accelerate post-earthquake recovery efforts.
