Sight of Student Masses Flooding DPR Area in Protest, Shouting These Demands

A mass of students from Trisakti University held a demonstration in front of the DPR RI building in Jakarta on Friday (19/6). The student masses wore dark blue alma mater jackets. They carried banners, flags, and posters. Besides Trisakti, dozens of students from Mercu Buana also joined the action. In this demonstration, the Trisakti masses carried the banner of ‘Tritura’ or the Three People’s Demands. In their demands, they called for economic and political recovery and the restoration of civilian supremacy. One of the demands of today’s student protest was for national economic and political recovery.
