SIG to Spend Rp809 Billion on Local Spare Parts in 2026, Up 2.79 Percent
PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SIG) recorded an increase in local spare parts spending of 2.79 percent, amounting to Rp809 billion in 2025, compared to the previous year’s Rp787 billion. This affirms the company’s commitment to supporting the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).
SIG Corporate Secretary Vita Mahreyni emphasised that the increased use of domestic products is not merely to comply with regulations but is also part of the company’s strategic initiatives aligned with the SIG 2030 Sustainability Road Map.
“To support sustainable TKDN enhancement, SIG actively develops spare parts components through Research and Development (R&D) activities in collaboration with industry partners and SMEs, to continuously improve production capacity, technological innovation, and the competitiveness of domestic products,” Vita stated in her remarks on Thursday, 30 April 2026.
She revealed that this rise also represents a 164.3 percent surge from the 2020 baseline of Rp306 billion, which is part of SIG’s strategy to strengthen the domestic supply chain and enhance operational efficiency amid intensifying competition in the building materials industry.
Furthermore, she added that the sustainable procurement implemented by the company is aimed at bolstering domestic suppliers while maintaining efficiency and competitiveness. This approach is also part of the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance)-based transformation that drives the creation of sustainable economic value.
As Indonesia’s largest building materials producer, SIG integrates the use of domestic products from raw material procurement, spare parts, to supporting industry services. This strategy is seen as capable of strengthening business fundamentals through cost efficiency and optimisation of supply chains based on local resources.
Throughout 2025, SIG’s total realisation of domestic product spending (PDN) reached Rp21.79 trillion, equivalent to 93.47 percent of total goods and services spending of Rp23.32 trillion. This achievement provides tangible contributions from the company in supporting national economic growth amid global dynamics.
In addition, SIG continues to enhance the competitiveness of local products through innovation, including the development of low-carbon cement that utilises domestic raw materials to improve energy efficiency while reducing emissions.
