SIG Stresses Human Resources as Key Factor in Driving Performance Growth
PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) has reaffirmed its commitment to building superior, adaptive, and performance-oriented human resources (HR). This commitment has once again received national recognition.
At the Indonesia HR Excellence 2026 awards, SIG won three accolades with an ‘Excellent’ predicate, the highest distinction in the event, for the categories of Learning & Development (L&D), HR Digitalization & People Analytics, and Wellbeing Management.
SIG’s Director of Human Capital, Hadi Setiadi, stated that amidst increasingly complex industry dynamics, the quality of human resources is a determining factor for a company’s competitiveness. Therefore, SIG places human capital development as an integral part of its business strategy to ensure the company can adapt, innovate, and grow sustainably.
‘SIG views human capital not merely as a support function, but as an enabler for company performance growth. Through our Human Capital Architecture, we focus on accelerating the mastery of critical capabilities that support operational excellence, digital and commercial agility, and cost transformation. These awards motivate us to continue delivering HR management practices that add value to the business,’ said Hadi Setiadi.
The transformation of HR management at SIG is strengthened through the development of a Strategic Human Capital Information System (HCIS) Framework and People Analytics, which integrate human capital strategy with data-driven decision-making. This system is supported by a People Analytics platform and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, enabling faster, more accurate, and business-relevant decision-making processes.
The awards were presented by Indonesia HR Excellence 2026 jury member, Priyantono Rudito, to SIG’s Director of Human Capital, Hadi Setiadi, during the Indonesia HR Excellence Conference and Awarding 2026. The event was organised by SWA Media Group in collaboration with the Management Institute of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (LM FEB UI) at Hotel Shangri-La Jakarta.
