The Sidoarjo Resort Police (Polresta Sidoarjo) achieved recognition at the Police Creations for the Community Appreciation Night, taking home two awards. The event was held in Jakarta on Tuesday (11/8/2026) and was attended by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The two awards won were first place in the Food Security Media Management Competition for Cluster 1 Resort Police and second place in the Best SPPG Management Competition.

Sidoarjo Police Chief Commissioner Christian Tobing received the first-place award for Food Security Media Management directly. Christian is a graduate of the Police Academy (Akpol) Class of 2000, Sanika Satyawada Battalion. Meanwhile, the second-place award for Best SPPG Management was received by First Inspector Vica Henriana, a graduate of the Police Academy Class of 2019, Wicaksana Adhimanggala Battalion.

The awards were given for various innovations and efforts by the Sidoarjo Police in supporting government programmes, particularly food security and the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme through the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG).

Sidoarjo Police Chief Commissioner Christian Tobing expressed his deepest gratitude to the National Police Chief and all parties who have supported the various programmes run by the Sidoarjo Police. “We would like to thank the National Police Chief, General of Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si., and all parties who have supported and appreciated us, so that the Sidoarjo Police received this award from the National Police Chief,” said Christian in his statement on Wednesday (12/8/2026).

He emphasised that the award serves as motivation for the Sidoarjo Police force to continue providing the best service to the community. “Of course, we will continue to strive as much as possible to be the best in providing services to the community. We will also continue to fully support the priority programmes of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, especially the food security programme through the SPPG programme,” he said.

According to Christian, the award received is not just an achievement, but also motivation for all personnel to continue improving performance and making a real contribution to society. The two awards simultaneously demonstrate the Sidoarjo Police’s commitment to supporting the government’s priority programmes and delivering police services that are increasingly adaptive, innovative, and have a positive impact on the community. “This award is motivation for us to continue working, innovating, and providing the greatest possible benefit to the community,” he concluded.
