Sidoarjo Police Receive Three National Awards for Bureaucratic Reform and Public Service Innovation

The Sidoarjo Resort Police (Polresta Sidoarjo) has once again achieved national recognition. During the Indonesian National Police’s 2026 Planning and Budgeting Coordination Meeting in Jakarta, Polresta Sidoarjo received several awards in the fields of bureaucratic reform and public service innovation. The awards include the ‘Prime Service’ (A) predicate from the National Police Chief, resulting from the 2025 Independent Institutional Performance Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Service Delivery. Furthermore, Polresta Sidoarjo was named a Top Finalist in the General Group for Public Service Innovation at the 2025 Public Service Innovation Competition. The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform also presented a certificate of appreciation for the ‘SPKT Mall Mini Police Service’ innovation as a Top Finalist in the 2025 Public Service Innovation Competition. Sidoarjo Police Chief, Commissioner Christian Tobing, expressed gratitude for the achievements, stating they were the result of collective hard work and support from various parties. ‘These awards serve as motivation for us to continue improving the quality of service to the community. This achievement is inseparable from the direction of the National Police Chief, the East Java Police Chief, the support of the Sidoarjo Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, relevant stakeholders, the hard work of all members, and criticism and input from the public,’ he said. He affirmed that the awards prove that public service innovation at the Sidoarjo Police continues to progress in line with efforts to create fast, easy, and professional services. ‘We will continue to innovate so that public services get even better. This also encourages all personnel to get closer to the community in accordance with the National Police Chief’s mandate that the police must be present as protectors, guardians, and public servants,’ he concluded.
