Sidoarjo Police Receive Grade A for Service Quality from Ombudsman
The Sidoarjo Police has achieved a score of 89.36, categorised as very good service quality (A) from the Ombudsman. This accomplishment positions the Sidoarjo Police as one of the top regional police units for service in East Java.
According to detikjatim on Tuesday (7/4/2026), the award was presented directly by the representative of the Ombudsman RI East Java, Triyoga Muhtar Habibi, to the Head of Public Relations of East Java Police, Commissioner Harries Budiharto, and the Deputy Chief of Sidoarjo Police, AKBP Mohammad Zainur Rofik, in the East Java Police Public Relations Bureau Room.
“This assessment also serves as a form of oversight and an effort to prevent maladministration, to ensure quality services free from deviations,” said Commissioner Harries in his remarks.
The Chief of Sidoarjo Police, Commissioner Christian Tobing, expressed gratitude for the Sidoarjo Police receiving a Grade A. He also commended his team for their hard work.
“Achieving a Grade A with a score of 89.36 from the Ombudsman RI is an honour we are truly thankful for. This achievement is a tangible manifestation of our success in the region in translating and implementing the directives of the National Police Chief and the East Java Police Chief to always provide the best public services,” said Christian.
“Of course, the leadership’s directives would not be realised in the field without the dedication and hard work of all Sidoarjo Police personnel who directly serve the public every day. This achievement is also inseparable from the support and active oversight from the people of Sidoarjo,” he continued.
The score, according to Christian, is proof of the Sidoarjo Police’s commitment to realising a transparent, fast, and accountable bureaucracy. He promised not to rest on this laurel.
“This score is proof of our commitment to realising a transparent, fast, and accountable bureaucracy. Nevertheless, we will not be complacent. This award is not the finish line, but a new standard and a motivator for enthusiasm. Moving forward, we will continue to ensure that no public complaints are left unaddressed properly, so that Sidoarjo Police services become even more optimal and precise,” stated Christian.
AKBP Mohammad Zainur Rofik also expressed appreciation for the objective assessment conducted by the Ombudsman. He said the award serves as motivation for his team to keep improving.
“This award is an encouragement for us to continue providing the best services to the public,” he said.
