Sidoarjo Deputy Regent Mimik Idayana has ensured that the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme in the region is running safely, smoothly, and remains a government priority in line with the directives of President Prabowo Subianto. During the occasion, Mimik met with thousands of participants from the Sidoarjo United MBG Communication Forum, who expressed their support for the programme’s safe and smooth execution. “All aspirations conveyed will be received and immediately reported to the central government,” Mimik said in Sidoarjo, East Java, on Monday. She noted that all input received from the community would be considered for refining the programme’s implementation so that its benefits can be more widely felt. Mimik explained that evaluation of the MBG programme would be carried out continuously to ensure that any emerging obstacles can be promptly addressed by the government. The evaluation process also aims to improve the programme’s effectiveness, making its execution better and enabling it to meet the objectives set by the central government. Mimik further emphasised that, to date, there have been no incidents resulting in casualties during the implementation of the MBG programme in Sidoarjo Regency, indicating that the programme is proceeding well. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Sidoarjo United MBG Communication Forum, Ubaidillah Nurdin, stated that the participants in the street action came from various backgrounds, including farmers, fishermen, volunteers, suppliers, market traders, and managers of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) involved in the programme. He assessed that any obstacles arising during implementation are matters that need to be addressed through evaluation, without halting the ongoing MBG programme, so that the community can continue to benefit from it. “We support the national MBG programme to continue, and we support the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto,” he said.
