Sidenreng Rappang Detention Centre Achieves Good Quality Rating in 2025 Public Service Maladministration Assessment
Sidenreng Rappang Class IIB Detention Centre has achieved a “Good Quality” rating in the Indonesian Ombudsman’s 2025 Public Service Maladministration Assessment.
The assessment was presented during an Ombudsman Republic of Indonesia opinion session held at the BPK RI Auditorium, South Sulawesi Provincial Representative Office, on Thursday, 12 March 2026. The event brought together various representatives from central and regional government institutions across South Sulawesi Province.
The assessment aimed to communicate findings regarding public service compliance and evaluate potential maladministration among service-providing institutions. Perimansyah, the head of Sidenreng Rappang Class IIB Detention Centre, attended the session in person as a facility representative. The event ran from 08:30 to 12:00 WITA.
According to the Ombudsman’s assessment results, Sidenreng Rappang Class IIB Detention Centre successfully achieved a “Good Quality” category in the 2025 Public Service Maladministration Assessment. This achievement demonstrates that public service delivery within the detention facility has met compliance standards in accordance with applicable regulations.
Nevertheless, the detention centre remains committed to continuous improvement through internal evaluation of all public services, enhancement of facilities and infrastructure, and strengthening of staff competencies.
“This achievement will be our motivation to continue improving service quality so that in the future we can achieve a higher category,” said Perimansyah.
Going forward, Sidenreng Rappang Class IIB Detention Centre is targeting quality improvement in public service delivery to reach “Very Good” category status in the next assessment, aligned with efforts to realise public service that is transparent, accountable, and oriented towards public satisfaction.
