PT SiCepat Ekspres Indonesia has expanded its business lines with the launch of SiCepat Logistik, a business-to-business (B2B) service targeting the integrated distribution needs of industry players. The expansion is a strategy to strengthen the company’s logistics business beyond parcel delivery services while capturing the growing demand for an increasingly integrated national supply chain.

The launch of SiCepat Logistik was announced at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday. The service utilises SiCepat Ekspres’s operational network to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions for the manufacturing sector, brand owners, distributors, and retailers.

Chief Executive Officer of SiCepat Ekspres, Barry Lim, said many companies still face challenges in managing distribution because they have to work with multiple logistics providers with different systems. This condition makes the delivery process difficult to monitor comprehensively and adds to operational complexity.

According to Barry, SiCepat Logistik was developed with the concept of one partner, one system, and one accountability, enabling customers to manage the entire distribution process on a single platform.

“What sets SiCepat Logistik apart is not just the variety of services we offer, but how all these services operate within the same system. Our customers no longer need to manage multiple vendors with different standards and visibility; just one partner, one system, one accountability, from the warehouse to the end customer,” Barry said.

SiCepat Logistik provides a range of services including Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than Truckload (LTL), warehousing, heavy cargo, custom logistics, sea and air freight forwarding, export-import services and customs clearance, as well as various value-added services.

Within the SiCepat Group ecosystem, this new service will handle the distribution process from the first mile to the middle mile, covering manufacturers, brand owners, distributors, retailers, and small and medium enterprises to warehousing facilities. The last-mile delivery process to the end customer will continue to be handled by SiCepat Ekspres through various distribution channels, including e-commerce, social commerce, web stores, retail shops, and drop point and agent networks.

This integration allows the SiCepat Group to offer a more comprehensive supply chain service, from raw material management and storage to inter-warehouse distribution and final delivery to consumers. To support inter-island distribution, the company is also introducing SiCepat Fast Lane, a sea freight service that claims to offer faster transit times than conventional sea shipping at a more competitive cost than air freight, with more consistent departure schedules.

Through this expansion into the B2B logistics segment, SiCepat hopes to broaden its business growth sources beyond retail parcel delivery while meeting the needs of businesses that increasingly require integrated, efficient logistics services with better distribution visibility across the entire supply chain.
