SIA's B-777 lands here

JAKARTA (JP): The first Singapore Airlines (SIA) Boeing B-777, called Jubilee, landed at Soekarno-Hatta airport here yesterday.

The jet was one of the 77 bought for US$12.7 billion from Boeing.

SIA Jakarta's general manager, Tan Chik Quee, said yesterday that the inaugural B-777 flight to Jakarta was a part of the airlines' 50th anniversary celebrated from May to October this year.

SIA flies 91 times a week to three Indonesian cities: Jakarta, 56 times, Surabaya in East Java, 14 times, and Denpasar in Bali, 21 times.
