The international food and beverage industry exhibition, Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL) Interfood 2026, will once again be held at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran from 4 to 6 November 2026. Organisers Seven Events and Comexposium state that the event forms part of efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s international food trade connections through the global SIAL Network exhibition platform. “The SIAL Network is currently entering a very important new phase,” said Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of the Food and Beverage Division at Comexposium, in a statement from Jakarta on Wednesday. He explained that SIAL Interfood is positioned as a business-to-business (B2B) platform to bring together food and beverage industry players with professional buyers from various countries. According to him, the development of the exhibition is aimed at enhancing the quality of business meetings while reinforcing SIAL’s position as an international trade platform for the food industry. “We are increasingly emphasising our role as a real trade platform for the food industry,” he stated. The SIAL Network is an international food and beverage exhibition network that has been present since 1964 and is regularly held in various countries, such as France, Canada, China, Malaysia, India, the United States, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Globally, the network records 17,000 exhibitors and more than 700,000 professional visitors from 205 countries. SIAL Interfood first arrived in Indonesia in 2015 and was attended by more than 800 companies from 22 countries at that time. For the 2026 edition in halls B and C of JIExpo Kemayoran, exhibitors will come from more than 25 countries covering the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East, and China. Seven Events President Director Andy Wismarsyah said this year’s organisation is focused on strengthening the quality of business interactions between exhibitors and industry players. “Our main focus this year is to deliver international business excellence standards by connecting our exhibitors with high-profile industry players,” he said. The exhibition will feature various food and beverage industry sectors, from frozen foods, coffee and tea, to food processing technology. In addition to the trade fair, SIAL Interfood 2026 will also present several programmes such as SIAL Innovation, International Cooking Competition, Barista Championship, industry seminars, and business matching. The organisers hope the exhibition can strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian food and beverage products in the global market while serving as a medium for exchanging innovations and food industry technology.
