SIA to increase fights to Bali
SINGAPORE: Singapore Airlines (SIA) will add another daily
flight to the Indonesian resort island of Bali to meet a jump in
demand after the bomb blast there, the carrier said Monday.
The new flight schedule -- adding to four flights daily -- is
effective Monday until Oct. 21 and it will "help meet the current
high demand for flights out of Bali," SIA said.
"SIA will waive any airline-related fees for customers who
cancel, defer or change their travel plans to Bali," it said.
More than 180 people were killed and more than 300 injured
when a huge car bomb destroyed two nightclubs packed with foreign
tourists in Bali's Kuta resort area on Saturday night. -- AFP
