On Sunday morning, July 31, 1994 I shopped at Matahari Department Store in Melawai, South Jakarta. At this particular time there were not many shoppers around. After I paid for my article I wanted to go home right away. But, to my great shock, when I arrived at the door I was stopped by the security guard because the alarm device was ringing.

I was shown back to the cashier. I stayed calm because I knew I had done nothing wrong. But I was ashamed to be stared at by the crowd. After examination, they found something sensitive to the alarm device that had not been taken off from the package.

I wish to warn the management to be more careful in servicing the customers.
