Shophouse in Kampung Bali, Central Jakarta catches fire, 19 fire trucks deployed

A shophouse located on Jalan H Fachrudin RT 008/RW 007, Kampung Bali, Central Jakarta, caught fire on Monday (25 May 2026) evening. The Head of Public Relations for the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Erlyn Sumantri, stated that police are currently handling the situation at the scene. According to data from the Command Center of the Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat), the fire was first reported by residents at 18:19 WIB. Firefighters were deployed to the scene at 18:21 WIB and began operations around 18:22 WIB. A total of 110 personnel from 19 fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the flames. As of now, there are no reported casualties or damage estimates from the fire.
