ShopeePay introduces cost-saving transaction features during long holiday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The digital payment application ShopeePay has introduced services for transactions without additional fees, such as money transfers, top-ups, and cash withdrawals, to help the public manage their spending during long holidays.

ShopeePay Indonesia President Director Eka Nilam Dari stated that user transaction activities tend to increase during long holidays in line with increasingly diverse needs.

“Through the various features we offer, the ShopeePay application wants to help users transact more practically and efficiently, so they can focus on enjoying holiday moments more comfortably and manageably,” Eka said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

In addition, the application provides free top-up facilities up to 25 times per month, either online or in cash through merchants such as Indomaret, Alfamart, and Pos Indonesia.

ShopeePay also offers cash withdrawal services without administrative fees up to five times per month in accordance with terms and conditions.

Furthermore, ShopeePay has introduced the Split Bill feature to make it easier for users to divide bills when holidaying with family or friends. The feature allows users to scan or upload transaction receipts, add members, and determine cost sharing before sending the bill.

ShopeePay urges users to be cautious of links or offers claiming to be from ShopeePay outside official channels.
