Shopee Introduces 'Belanja INSTANT' One-Hour Delivery Service

Shopee has introduced a new ‘Belanja INSTANT’ one-hour delivery service to make it easier for users to obtain daily necessities, ranging from fresh food and frozen goods to over-the-counter medicines, with a faster shipping process. Senior Director of Business Development at Shopee Indonesia, Adi Rahardja, stated on Monday that the company is continuously strengthening its innovation and services to provide a faster, easier, and more relevant shopping experience in line with evolving public needs. He noted that people are increasingly relying on digital solutions to support daily activities, including fulfilling needs for fresh food, frozen items, and non-prescription medicines that are often required at short notice. In line with the company’s commitment to delivering a safe and trustworthy online shopping experience, the Belanja INSTANT 1 Jam Tiba campaign is expected to make it easier for users to get various necessities more quickly. The service allows users to purchase a wide range of daily items such as eggs, fruit, vegetables, milk, chicken, fresh and processed meat, ice cream, and over-the-counter medicines. Users can also take advantage of discounts of up to 50 per cent through the Instant Prioritas service for eligible products. Adi expressed hope that the launch would establish Shopee as a safe and reliable online shopping destination, helping people meet their daily needs without leaving home or rearranging their schedules when urgent needs arise. To support the service, Shopee is collaborating with several merchants, including Klik Indomaret, Hypermart, Hero, and Segari. Users can access the service by searching for products on the homepage or via the search bar and then activating the ‘Instant’ filter. Products supporting the service are marked with a green Instant label, which includes the estimated delivery time and store distance. Users can also select the nearest store for faster delivery and use the Instant Prioritas voucher available in the shopping cart for eligible products.
