Shopee Introduces 'Belanja INSTANT' One-Hour Delivery Service

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Shopee has introduced the ‘Belanja INSTANT 1 Jam Tiba’ (INSTANT Shopping 1-Hour Arrival) service to make it easier for users to obtain various daily necessities, ranging from fresh food and frozen goods to over-the-counter medicines, with a faster delivery process.

“Observing the continuously evolving needs of the community in online shopping, Shopee continues to strengthen our innovation and services to provide a shopping experience that is increasingly fast, easy, and relevant to users’ daily lives,” said Adi Rahardja, Senior Director of Business Development at Shopee Indonesia, in a statement on Monday.

According to Adi, the public is becoming increasingly accustomed to relying on digital solutions to support daily activities, including fulfilling needs for fresh food, frozen food, and over-the-counter medicines that are often required in a short timeframe.

“In line with our commitment to providing a safe and trusted online shopping experience, the Shopee Belanja INSTANT 1 Jam Tiba campaign is expected to provide convenience for users to obtain various necessities more quickly,” he said.

The Belanja INSTANT 1 Jam Tiba service allows users to purchase a variety of daily needs, such as eggs, fruit, vegetables, milk, chicken, fresh and processed meat, ice cream, and even over-the-counter medicines. Users can also take advantage of discounts of up to 50 per cent through the ‘Instant Prioritas’ service for eligible products.

Adi stated that the launch of Belanja INSTANT 1 Jam Tiba is expected to establish Shopee as a safe and trusted online shopping destination. He also noted that the service can help the community meet daily needs without having to leave their homes or alter their schedules when sudden needs arise.

To complement the service, Shopee is collaborating with several merchants, including Klik Indomaret, Hypermart, Hero, and Segari.

Users can access the service by searching for products via the main page or search bar and then activating the “Instant” filter. Products supporting the service are marked with a green “Instant” label, accompanied by an estimated delivery time and store distance.

Users can also select the nearest store to ensure faster delivery and use ‘Instant Prioritas’ vouchers available in the shopping cart for eligible products.
