Shooting at the Islamic Centre of San Diego: Security Officer Dies a Hero
A security officer who died in a shooting at the Islamic Centre of San Diego on Monday, 18 May 2026, has been lauded as a hero for his bravery in facing the attack. Although the incident claimed three lives, police said the tragedy could have been much worse without the officer’s intervention.
