Shocking! Human Body Parts Found on Ketewel Beach, Bali

Gianyar, Bali – The Gianyar Police are investigating the discovery of human body parts on Ketewel Beach, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali, on Thursday.

This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the Gianyar Police, Ipda Gusti Ngurah Suardita, when contacted in Gianyar, Thursday.

“It is true that on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at around 10:00 a.m. local time, human body parts were found at the mouth of the Wos River, in the Banjar Keden area, Ketewel Village, Sukawati District. The case is currently under investigation,” said Suardita.

He explained that the human body parts were initially found by a local resident who was jogging near the location.

“A resident who was jogging on the beach found a human head,” he said.

The resident immediately reported the discovery to the Sukawati Police. After receiving the report, the On-Duty Team and the Inafis Team of the Gianyar Police, along with the Bali Police, arrived at the scene to conduct a crime scene investigation.

The police then expanded the search around the scene. Residents in the area also joined in searching the beach.

Shortly after, the joint team found other body parts, believed to be part of the remains found earlier.

“During the search by the joint team, several body parts were found around the scene,” said Suardita.

The body parts were then taken to the Sanglah/Prof. Ngoerah Hospital in Denpasar for further autopsy.

The police have not yet confirmed the identity of the victim as the investigation is still ongoing.

“The identity is still under investigation, and the Bali Police and Gianyar Police teams are currently in the process of investigating,” he said. (Ant)
