Shocking Fact! Nus Kei Stabbing Perpetrators Already Knew the Victim

Maluku - The fatal stabbing case involving Agrapinus Rumatora, alias Nus Kei, Chairman of the DPD Partai Golkar for Southeast Maluku, continues to unfold. Investigations have revealed that the stabbing perpetrator knew the victim. This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Regional Police, Commissioner General Rositah Umasugi. “Yes (the perpetrator knew the victim),” she said on Monday, 20 April 2026. Nevertheless, the Maluku Regional Police have not provided further details regarding this case. The two perpetrators, HR (28) and FU (36), are still undergoing intensive questioning. From preliminary confessions, their motive for attacking Nus Kei stemmed from a long-standing grudge during their time in Jakarta. Previously reported, the bloody incident shook Karel Sadsuitubun Airport in Southeast Maluku. Agrapinus Rumatora, alias Nus Kei, Chairman of the DPD Partai Golkar for Southeast Maluku, died after being attacked by unknown persons (OTK) on Sunday, 19 April 2026. The incident occurred around 11:25 WIT, shortly after the victim arrived from Jakarta. The situation at the airport, which was initially normal, suddenly turned tense when the stabbing took place abruptly. The Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Regional Police, Commissioner General Rositah Umasugi, revealed that the victim was attacked using a sharp weapon. “Suddenly the victim was stabbed by an unknown person using a knife. The suspected perpetrators immediately fled after the incident,” Rositah stated in her written remarks.
