Shocking Discovery of Bandung Junior High Student's Body During TikTok Livestream at Former Kampung Gajah

Jakarta - A junior high school student with the initials ZAAQ was found dead in the bushes of the former Kampung Gajah tourist attraction in Cihideung Village, Parongpong District, West Bandung Regency. ZAAQ’s body was accidentally discovered by a TikTok streamer.

The body was found on Friday evening (13/2). At the time, a TikTok streamer was conducting a livestream exploring mystery content. Unexpectedly, they were startled by the discovery of the body.

Meanwhile, the principal of SMPN 26 Bandung, Titin Supriatin, said ZAAQ had been reported missing by the family since Tuesday (10/2/2026). The family only learned of the discovery through news circulating online.

“Tuesday night. Tuesday night, the child went missing. Until the news came out, until it was posted in group chats,” Titin said when met at SMPN 26 Bandung.

Cimahi Police Chief AKBP Niko N. Adi Putra has also received a report on the case. The police are currently working hard to uncover the exact cause of the victim’s death.

“That’s correct, last night we received a report of a body found on the grounds of the former Kampung Gajah. The witness who found it was conducting a mystery exploration livestream on social media,” Niko said.

When found, there were strong identifying features pointing to the victim’s identity, including a school uniform inside the bag. The body has been evacuated to Sartika Asih Hospital for an autopsy.

“For now, the body has been taken to Sartika Asih Hospital for an autopsy regarding identification and other details,” Niko explained.
