Shocking Confession from a Makassar Influencer! Has Been Using Whip Pink Since 2025, Purchased it 15 Times
A shocking confession has emerged in the investigation of the circulation of nitrous oxide, or N2O, under the brand name Whip Pink, which is currently being investigated by the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim).
An influencer from Makassar, with the initials APG, has admitted to using the product, known as ‘laughing gas,’ for several months and making purchases up to a dozen times.
The 22-year-old woman made the confession during questioning by investigators from the Directorate of Narcotics Crime Investigation of the National Police as a witness in the ongoing investigation into the circulation of Whip Pink.
Head of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Directorate of Narcotics Crime Investigation of the National Police, Police Commissioner Al Rasyidin Fajri, stated that APG was questioned regarding her use of the product, which had been widely discussed on social media.
“On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, we conducted an examination of a witness, an influencer residing in Makassar with the initials APG, aged 22, who was strongly suspected of going viral on one of the social media platforms,” he said, quoted on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
From the examination, APG admitted to starting using Whip Pink in September 2025 and stopping in January 2026.
Furthermore, investigators found that APG repeatedly purchased the product during her period of use.
“The person in question explained that she had been using it since September 2025 and stopped in January 2026. She also made 15 purchases and admitted to experiencing euphoric or ‘high’ effects when using the product,” he explained.
This finding is part of the investigation conducted by the National Police after previously identifying several Whip Pink consumers with unusual purchase frequencies. Some buyers are suspected of making transactions up to hundreds of times.
However, police emphasized that so far, no criminal elements have been found that could implicate the users. This is because nitrous oxide is not yet classified as an illegal narcotic under the regulations in force in Indonesia.
However, authorities remain vigilant about the impact caused by the misuse of the product. The effects experienced by users are said to be similar to those of narcotics, including the emergence of euphoria and loss of self-control.
