This occurred during a visit to Galala Market in Sofifi, where the Governor was accompanied by the Chairperson of the North Maluku PKK, Hj Rusni Sarbin.

The primary purpose of the visit to Galala Market was to ensure the price stability of essential commodities for both buyers and traders. However, upon arrival, various complaints surfaced beyond commodity prices, specifically regarding the need for market facility renovations to improve communal comfort.

While monitoring the market, a local trader approached the Governor to voice these concerns. The trader emphasised the need for road improvements and better sanitation, noting that the current muddy conditions make it difficult for customers to visit. Following these infrastructure concerns, the trader expressed the vendors’ collective support for the Governor, stating that the traders and their families are prepared to support her leadership in the upcoming period.
