Shell V-Power Diesel Returns to Sale, Full Tank for Ford Everest Costs Rp 2.4 Million
JAKARTA - Shell Indonesia fuel stations have been observed resuming fuel filling services for specific variants in several regions. Interestingly, the product being reintroduced is not a petrol variant, but rather premium diesel fuel, namely Shell V-Power Diesel. However, the return of this product is accompanied by a significant price adjustment, with Shell V-Power Diesel now priced at Rp 30,890 per litre as of May 2026. Calculating the tank capacity of the latest generation Ford Everest Titanium, which reaches 80 litres, owners would need to prepare funds of Rp 2,471,200 to fill it from empty to full using Shell V-Power Diesel. This figure is obtained from multiplying 80 litres by the new price of Rp 30,890 per litre, a cost considered quite extravagant for a single fuel fill-up. All the power is transmitted through a 10-speed automatic E-Shifter transmission to the 4WD drivetrain system equipped with Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly (ESOF) features. In addition to engine performance, this SUV also offers luxury through the presence of a Panoramic Moonroof and advanced technology on the dashboard area, which houses a 12-inch vertical touchscreen with the SYNC 4A system. Safety features are no less impressive, as it is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and Active Park Assist 2.0. With an 80-litre tank capacity and such premium specifications, the Everest remains a robust choice for long journeys, although fuel efficiency is now a more critical consideration amid the soaring prices of non-subsidised diesel fuel.
