Shell Petrol Stations Temporarily Only Supply V-Power Diesel

Shell Indonesia has resumed selling fuel after weeks of empty stocks. On its official website, Shell announced that temporarily only Shell V-Power Diesel is available at Shell petrol stations in limited areas.

However, the price has risen from Rp 14,620 per litre. “Shell V-Power Diesel is available in Jakarta, Banten, West Java, and East Java at Rp 30,890 per litre,” quoted from the announcement on Shell’s official website on Saturday, 9 May 2026.

The price of Shell V-Power Diesel is higher than other competitors. BP Ultimate Diesel from BP costs Rp 29,890 per litre in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi, as well as East Java.

Meanwhile, Pertamina Dex from Pertamina costs Rp 27,900 per litre in DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara.

The prices of non-subsidised fuels have risen due to the war in the Middle East since 28 February 2026. Crude oil prices have reached above US$100 per barrel from US$66-70 per barrel.
