JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Shell Indonesia’s petrol stations have finally resumed operations after experiencing fuel stock shortages over the past few months.

One such station that has become active again was observed in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, on Saturday night (9/5/2026). The return to operations at Shell petrol stations is marked by the reappearance of fuel price boards at the filling areas.

Notably, the first product available to consumers is Shell V-Power Diesel at a price of Rp 30,890 per litre. Meanwhile, gasoline products such as Shell Super and Shell V-Power are not yet available.

At that time, several Shell petrol stations in various regions were known to be out of fuel stock, causing refuelling activities to be temporarily halted.

According to the official Shell Indonesia website (10/5/2026), operations at Shell petrol stations are reported to have resumed since 9 May 2026 in several regions, covering Jakarta, Banten, West Java, to East Java.

Previously, Shell Indonesia also appointed a new top leadership. Andri Pratiwa has been officially appointed as President Director and Country Chair of Shell Indonesia effective from 1 May 2026.

“Shell Indonesia is entering a new phase with various opportunities, and I am grateful for the trust given to me to lead the company in efforts for growth while continuing to provide positive contributions to Indonesia’s economy,” said Andri in his official statement.
