Shell Indonesia Officially Appoints Andri Pratiwa as President Director
Shell Indonesia has announced the appointment of Andri Pratiwa as President Director and Country Chair of Shell Indonesia, effective from 1 May 2026. Andri will replace the position previously held by Ingrid Siburian.
This aligns with the company’s focus on strengthening its lubricants business while continuing the process of transferring its domestic Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) operations.
The incoming President Director of Shell Indonesia, Andri Pratiwa, expressed his readiness to lead the company in delivering sustainable long-term value. He also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continued investment in lubricants manufacturing facilities.
“Shell Indonesia is entering a new phase with various opportunities, and I am grateful for the trust given to me to lead the company in growth efforts while continuing to make positive contributions to Indonesia’s economy,” he stated in an official release, quoted on Friday (17/4/2026).
Additionally, Andri will continue in his current role as General Manager of Lubricants Indonesia alongside his new duties as company leader.
The leadership transition coincides with the previously announced plan to transfer Shell’s SPBU operations to a joint venture between Citadel Pacific Limited and Sefas Group.
“We continue to invest in the lubricants business, including the Grease Manufacturing Plant that complements the Shell Lubricants Factory in Marunda,” Andri added.
Meanwhile, Ingrid Siburian will conclude her tenure as President Director and will continue in her role as General Manager of Mobility.
Ingrid will retain an important position to ensure the continuity of operations and a smooth business transition during this period.
Shell expressed appreciation for Ingrid’s contributions in leading the company through a period of transformation in Indonesia. The company’s future focus will be on strengthening partnerships with various stakeholders to realise aspirations for sustainable growth.
