Jakarta, VIVA – The month of Ramadan is synonymous with sharing, including through digital transactions which are increasing year on year. Amidst this trend, digital wallet companies are leveraging this period to launch programmes that encourage interaction between users while also increasing the frequency of transactions.
One such initiative is being undertaken by GoPay through a programme called War Trakjil. This programme is being introduced as a ‘Surprise Gift Transfer for Eid’, with a scheme involving the collection of puzzle pieces from transactions between users.
GoPay states that this programme provides users of the application with the opportunity to collect puzzle pieces from GoPay-to-GoPay transfer transactions and exchange them for various Eid gifts.
The gifts on offer are said to be worth billions of rupiah. The list of gifts includes GoPay credit, discount vouchers, iPhones, and other special gifts. Head of GoPay Wallet, Kelvin Timotius, explained the purpose of this programme during Ramadan.
“During this special Ramadan period, we want to continue to provide convenience to users in their daily lives, including the ease of transferring funds in a safe and enjoyable way,” he said, as quoted in a press release on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.
“Therefore, we are launching the War Trakjil programme, which provides our users with the opportunity to win attractive prizes worth billions of rupiah, as well as various special experiences with public figures who are widely known,” he added.
The Mechanism of the War Trakjil Programme
Here is the process, or “tutorial”, for participating in the War Trakjil programme:
- Ensure your account is active
Users must have an active GoPay account and access it through the GoPay application.
- Go to the programme page
Access the ‘War Trakjil’ page within the application.
- Make a GoPay-to-GoPay transfer
Users can earn puzzle pieces by making GoPay-to-GoPay transfer transactions with a minimum amount as specified, either as the sender or the recipient.
- Collect puzzle pieces
The puzzle pieces earned will be automatically saved on the main page of War Trakjil. Users collect these pieces to form a complete set of puzzles.
- Exchange for gifts
Once a complete set of puzzles has been assembled, users can immediately exchange them for the available gifts for that set through the War Trakjil page.
