Sharing Goodness with Others: Bank Mandiri Holds Mass Blood Donation Drive
Bank Mandiri organised a social action titled Mandiri Donor Darah, in line with the theme “Sharing Goodness with Others,” while supporting the public health sector. As a strategic partner of the government in supporting the health sector, Bank Mandiri collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to hold a mass blood donation programme titled Mandiri Donor Darah at Menara Mandiri in Jakarta and more than 10 cities and regencies from 14 to 19 April 2026. The activity targeted participation from 2,800 donors as a tangible contribution to maintaining the national blood stock availability. Specifically, the implementation of the Mandiri Donor Darah activity at Menara Mandiri in Jakarta involved 700 donors. This achievement reflects high enthusiasm from the participants, while also serving as a significant initial contribution to supporting the fulfilment of national blood stock needs. Not only involving Bank Mandiri employees or Mandirians, this social action also opened participation to the public in the areas around Bank Mandiri’s operational regions through integrated synergy. This step is expected to expand the positive impact of the activity, while inviting the public to become part of the solution in strengthening the national blood stock. Bank Mandiri’s Corporate Secretary, Adhika Vista, stated that the company consistently carries out social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) activities aligned with the pillars of health and strengthening community quality of life. This initiative is part of the company’s sustainable strategy in creating positive added value and a tangible manifestation of the role of state-owned enterprises as a responsive development agent to humanitarian issues. “Through this activity, we want to strengthen Bank Mandiri’s role as part of the social ecosystem that is present and provides real benefits to society,” said Adhika in his official statement, quoted on Wednesday (15/4/2026). To ensure the smooth process and comfort of registrants at every location, Bank Mandiri provided online registration access. In addition, every prospective donor also undergoes identity verification stages as well as intensive health checks by the medical team to ensure prime physical condition before undergoing the blood-taking process. To maintain the sustainability of social actions that have a real impact on the homeland, the Mandiri Donor Darah programme will be carried out periodically, as part of the company’s routine TJSL agenda. This step aims to strengthen consistent social care commitments, while supporting national health sector resilience. Bank Mandiri is optimistic that the synergy established between the company, health institutions, and society can provide tangible contributions to supporting public health strengthening. Going forward, the company commits to maintaining the continuity of this humanitarian programme so that its benefits can be consistently felt by society in various operational areas as part of Mandiri’s sustainable contribution to the nation. “Bank Mandiri is committed to continuing to present social initiatives that not only address society’s basic needs but also build a sustainable quality of life foundation,” Adhika concluded.
