Sharia Insurance Investment Returns Successfully Turn Around

Jakarta. The performance of sharia insurance investments has turned around in the early part of 2026. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) records that sharia insurance companies achieved investment returns of Rp 545.24 billion in the first two months of this year. This achievement marks an improvement from the investment results in February 2025, which were negative Rp 311.89 billion.

The Chairman of the Legal, Compliance, and Inter-Institutional Division of the Indonesian Sharia Insurance Association (AASI), Arry Wibowo, stated that this reversal in performance was driven by improvements in portfolio valuations, particularly in sukuk instruments, in line with the stabilisation of interest rates.
