Shares Entering Foreign Sell Radar, BBCA Remains a Subscriber
Jakarta — Amid net foreign buying of Rp 341.3 billion during trading on Thursday, 26 February 2026, foreign investors recorded significant selling activity across numerous shares. Total foreign selling reached Rp 8.122 trillion from overall transaction value of Rp 16.584 trillion.
By sector, foreign selling pressure concentrated in shares that had previously experienced sharp gains, indicating profit-taking activity.
Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR) became the share with the largest net foreign sell, recording Rp 431.8 billion. Foreign investors sold BNBR shares on the negotiated market.
Meanwhile, Bank Central Asia (BBCA) became the share with the largest net foreign selling on the regular market. Foreign investors sold Rp 149.7 billion of shares in the bank emitting company belonging to the Djarum group.
BBCA shares in yesterday’s trading fared differently from other major bank stocks. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) and Bank Mandiri (BMRI) recorded net foreign buying of Rp 172.3 billion and Rp 73 billion respectively.
Subsequently, Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (INKP) and Bukit Uluwatu Villa (BUVA) recorded net foreign selling of Rp 104.8 billion and Rp 104.4 billion.

The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed trading in negative territory. Nevertheless, IHSG managed to reduce losses before closing trading.
IHSG closed down 86.97 points or 1.05% to the level of 8,235.26. Approximately 1.5 hours before closing, IHSG had plummeted to 2%.
A total of 594 shares declined, 157 rose, and 207 remained unchanged. Transaction value reached Rp 27.85 trillion, involving 54.04 billion shares in 3.09 million transactions. Market capitalisation corrected to Rp 14.744 trillion.
Bukit Uluwatu Villa (BUVA) was recorded as the main weight with a burden of -5.11 index points. Subsequently VKTR Mobility Technology (VKTR) and IMPC each burdened IHSG by -5.08 index points and -5.02 index points respectively.
