Share Price Moves Erratically, IDX Closely Monitors UANG Trading
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is closely monitoring the Unusual Market Activity (UMA) pattern of PT Pakuan Tbk. (UANG) starting Friday (4/9/2026). The listed company is being monitored due to an unusual increase in its share price.
Quoting an IDX disclosure, the stock has been moving outside its usual pattern (Unusual Market Activity). The measure was taken to protect investors, particularly shareholders of the company concerned.
“The announcement of an Unusual Market Activity (UMA) does not in itself indicate a violation of capital market laws and regulations,” the IDX management wrote, as quoted from its official website.
“In connection with the occurrence of UMA on UANG shares, we hereby inform you that the Exchange is currently monitoring the development of this stock’s transaction pattern,” it wrote.
Quoting market data, UANG shares rose 1% to Rp4,060 per share at the opening of trading today, Monday (7/9/2026). Meanwhile, shares of this property developer have risen 63.31% over the past month, although they are down 10.79% year to date.
With this announcement, investors are expected to pay attention to the company’s response to the Exchange’s request for confirmation, scrutinise the company’s performance and information disclosure, reassess the company’s corporate action plans if such plans have not yet received shareholder approval at a general meeting, and consider the various possibilities that may arise in the future before making any investment decision.
