Shallow M 3.5 Earthquake Strikes Tojo Una-una in Central Sulawesi

An earthquake measuring magnitude 3.5 struck Tojo Una-una Regency, Central Sulawesi. The quake was centred on land at a depth of 5 kilometres.

“Earthquake Mag: 3.5, 19 February 2026 04:55:50 WIB,” wrote BMKG in a post on its official X account on Thursday (19/2/2026).

The earthquake was detected at coordinates 1.01 degrees South Latitude and 122.05 degrees East Longitude. No further information regarding the impact of the earthquake has been reported.

“This information prioritises speed, so the data processing results are not yet stable and may change as data becomes more complete,” the agency wrote.
