As a Moslem I am deeply concerned over the row occurring in
the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) organization. Uncontrolled ambition has
made an ulema act contrary to the qualities of an ulema. In this
case, Abu Hasan with his group, who do not want to accept the
result of the NU Congress held in Cipasung, has formed a "shadow"
NU board of executives.

Is he not aware that as a member of an organization, one must
abide by the rules stipulated in the Order of Organization and
the bylaw. All activities must be based on the organization's
regulations.

I wonder whether Abu Hasan's actions are in line with NU's
values. We are witnessing a phenomenon in the NU organization
which does not reflect the virtues of an ordinary Moslem, let
alone an ulema.
