Sex education on television
Sex education on television
From Media Indonesia
Sex education broadcasts on TV should be able to provide a
better understanding of sex in a sound and educative manner. To
this end, various relevant experts should be given a major role
in such programs.
What happens is that the discussion with the experts often
turns into a chat show, in which artists practically lead the
conversation. In this way, viewers remain uninformed about sex.
Therefore, the physicians, psychologists, educationists,
religious instructors and other specialists invited should not
just be treated like extras in TV dramas. They should have a
major part in providing complete and balanced public information
on this subject.
