Several Transjakarta Routes Disrupted Due to Flooding on Monday Night

JAKARTA – Several Transjakarta service routes experienced disruptions on Monday (4/5/2026) night due to flooding at various points in Jakarta. The Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated that flooding in the Ciledug area caused delays in the fleet, particularly on Corridor 13 route from Ciledug to Tendean. “Currently, services are experiencing significant fleet delays due to flooding around the Ciledug area,” she said, quoted from Antara. In addition to delays, several Transjakarta routes also underwent operational adjustments due to flooding on several road sections. Previously, the Jakarta BPBD reported that heavy rain caused an increase in water levels at the Pesanggrahan Post to Alert Level 3 status at 4:00 p.m. WIB. Flooding was recorded on several roads in South Jakarta, including Jalan Swadarma in Ulujami Subdistrict and Jalan Ciledug Raya (Seskoal) in Cipulir Subdistrict, with water heights of around 30 to 70 centimetres.
