Several Ojol Drivers Miss Out on BHR 2026, Held Back by Minimum Order Requirements
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - A number of online motorcycle taxi drivers have said they have not received the Hari Raya Bonus (BHR) distributed by the ride-hailing company ahead of Lebaran 2026. They did not receive the bonus because they did not meet the minimum order requirement during the assessment period.
Ludo (46), a four-wheeled ojol driver, said he did not receive the BHR because his February order total did not reach the target set by the company. He noted that car drivers must complete at least 35 orders in February to qualify for the lowest BHR tier worth Rp200,000.
“Because my category required 35 orders in February. But I only had 30 orders, so I didn’t qualify,” Ludo said. The man, who has been driving for three years on the app, said he does not take orders very often, so he failed to meet the target.
“If you reach 35 or more, you get Rp200,000. The more you pick up orders, the bigger the payout; also, if you’ve been driving for a long time, the payout is higher,” he said.
Ludo explained the bonus scheme. The amount increases depending on the driver’s consistency in handling orders over several recent months.
“There’s a ‘fighter’ bonus of Rp300,000. For 1-2 consecutive months, Rp450,000; the biggest is for 12 consecutive months from April 2025 to 2026, giving Rp1.6 million,” he said.
Ludo added that the bonus is disbursed non-cash via the partner’s digital wallet. “Transfer goes to OVO,” he said.
A similar situation was experienced by Sutisna (44), a two-wheeled ojol driver. He also did not receive the BHR because February’s order count did not reach the minimum target.
