Several Officials Reassigned at Dompu Police Headquarters
Dompu Police Chief AKBP Sodikin Fahrojin Nur has replaced several officials. A handover ceremony was held at Dompu Police headquarters in West Nusa Tenggara on Wednesday morning, 21 October 2026.
“This activity is part of the dynamics of the Indonesian National Police organisation, aimed at refreshing the organisation, developing careers, and improving performance and the quality of services to the public,” Sodikin said in his address.
The position of Hu’u Police chief, previously held by Iptu Ade Helmi, has been taken up by Ipda Abdul Mugis, who previously served as head of the General Crimes Unit at the Dompu Police Criminal Investigation Unit. Ade Helmi is now head of the Dompu Police Narcotics Investigation Unit.
Meanwhile, Ipda Adam has replaced Iptu Jubaidin as Pekat Police chief. Sodikin also appointed Ipda Syahril as the new head of the Detainee and Evidence Unit. No information was provided on the new postings of Rahmadun Siswadi and Jubaidin.
Sodikin urged all officials involved in the handover and those newly appointed to carry out their responsibilities with accountability, professionalism and discipline, and to uphold integrity in all their duties.
He said positions were a trust for which officials had to answer, and that they were expected to set an example for their subordinates, maintain internal cohesion and provide the best possible service to the public in order to build a professional, humane police force that enjoyed greater public trust.
“An office is a trust for which one must be accountable. Every official must be able to set an example for their subordinates, maintain internal solidarity and provide the best service to the public. All of this will help make the police professional,” Sodikun said.
