Several Officials Begin Arriving at the Palace, from Police Chief to Finance Minister Purbaya

Several officials have begun arriving at Merdeka Palace for a halalbihalal gathering with President Prabowo Subianto. They entered the palace in turns. Observations from detikcom on Saturday (21/3/2026) showed that the officials started arriving in the afternoon. The officials came with their families. They appeared to be queuing to exchange greetings with Prabowo. The attending cabinet members included Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Maruarar Sirait, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Head of BRIN Arif Satria. Also present were Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party’s Board of Patrons Mochamad Iriawan (Iwan Bule), MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani, and DPD Chairman Sultan Najamuddin. Previously, Prabowo also received the sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at Merdeka Palace. SBY arrived complete with his family. His eldest son, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), was seen along with his wife and children. Also visible was his second son and Deputy Chairman of the MPR Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas), who also brought his wife and child. SBY’s family appeared cohesive, wearing matching cream-coloured outfits.
