Several Ministers Attend Budget Efficiency Coordination Meeting

Several ministers participated in a Coordination Meeting on Budget Efficiency and Optimisation. Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the government monitored developments in the global situation during the meeting. The meeting was held at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs on Monday, 16 March 2026, as posted on the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account. Teddy and several ministers were seen seated in a conference room.

“Monday, 16 March 2026, Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya attended the Coordination Meeting on Budget Efficiency and Optimisation held at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia,” Teddy noted.

The meeting was chaired by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartanto and was attended by Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana, Minister of Investment and Head of the Danantara Management Body Rosan Roeslani, and Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy.

Teddy stated that several planning decisions the government would take were discussed during the meeting. Additionally, budget reallocation plans across ministry and agency expenditures were reviewed.

Teddy emphasised that the government would continue monitoring dynamic developments in the global situation that could impact Indonesia, particularly those affecting fiscal policy.

“The government will continue to monitor developments in the global situation dynamically before making further fiscal policy decisions,” he said.
